A networking initiative that seeks to build connection and confidence amongst people trying out odd types of fitness! Driven by fails and laughs, and we seek to normalise the feeling of trying something new, no matter the outcome.
I love to try new things and I constantly challenge myself, both in fitness and my work life. However, that's not to say I haven't felt out of place or uncomfortable when I've done so. Instead I've come to realise that little feeling of fear is most often a good thing, and definitely something we should embrace and train. It's like a muscle, or a fitness - an odd fitness.
This led me to create Odd Fit - a networking initiative that seeks to build connection and confidence amongst people trying out odd types of fitness! Driven by fails and laughs, and we seek to normalise the feeling of trying something new, no matter the outcome.
Each month we gather professionals from Melbourne’s advertising and communications industries to try out a new kind of fitness together.
An odd fit is the best kind of fit - mostly unexpected, often daring and frequently uncomfortable. By having new experiences, and seeing things in unexpected places, we’re shown that the oddest of fits are sometimes made for each other.
